2008 Foals

Two foals, owned by the Elite Horse Partnership.

- an athletic, bay sports horse colt, EH Union Bright, born on 6th May. The colt qualifies for a full Anglo-European Studbook passport. Breeding is by Nibeley Union Jack (KWPN, born 2001) x Wetherbys reg. TB Eventer Mare Maybright (by Button Bright). Jack is from the Neostan/Florestan line (dressage), with a dam line including Karasandj (show-jumping) and Cara (dressage). Jack was a prolific winner in young horse classes and his most recent placing at the BD Nationals was 2nd Medium restricted Summer 2007. He has qualified for the 2008 Summer Nationals at AM (O) ridden by Emile Faurie. Dam sire Button Bright stood in Norfolk and produced quality show/riding horses. Maybright evented and hunted, and has produced 5 foals which have made quality eventers, county show horses ( her 2 yr old in 2007 qualified for HOYS) etc. Franc's 2 yr old full brother is regarded as an outstanding dressage/event prospect.

- an elegant, mahogany-brown sports horse filly born 18th June, EH Renaissance Gold (Doree), by Keystone Rhondeo (Hanoverian, 16.1hh) x 16.2 hh 7/8 TB Eventer/Dressage Mare (by Daywell Pacific Gold). Rhondeo was ch. at his WBS grading in 2004 as a 2 yr old, and has an outstanding record in young horse classes (aged 4-6). He has qualified for the 2008 Summer Nationals at Medium (O). Doree's dam, Clywd Pacific Bess, was on senior PC teams and showed great promise in dressage until a field accident halted her career. Pacific Gold was an outstanding eventer, with a temperament suitable for PC competitions in his later years, and Bess also has Int. level eventing on her Dam's side.

Both foals should make 16.1 hh - 16.2 hh
